Detroit River Cocktail Showdown will feature top bartenders from local bars and restaurants along the Detroit Riverfront and Metro Detroit area to showcase their uniquely crafted cocktails.
Positioned inside District 142 – Live Music & Event Venue there will be approx. twenty (20) bartenders / bars competing for bragging rights and an epic trophy. Each will be assigned a spirit prior to the event. Then each bartender is challenged to make the best craft cocktail partnered with a specialty spirit brand coupled with their ingenuity. Cocktail enthusiasts will have the chance to sample cocktails made with premium liquors and ingredients and vote for the best cocktail based on taste and presentation!
Past particpants have included; The Iron Gate, Rivertown Tavern, JP’s Waterfront, Gizzmos Martini Bar, District 142, Big League Brews, Whiskeys on the Watery to name a few. Cocktail sampling will take place from 6pm – 11pm. Check in between 6pm – 8:30pm. Ticket holders will receive a commemorative glass, 10 sampling tickets, and a vote card.
